Corinne was born in 1983 and grew up in southern New Jersey. She started drawing Hello Kitty obsessively at a young age. Later, she moved on to still lives. Growing up, her father encouraged her to take cartooning classes, to which she always responded, "No thanks, Dad. I'm a real artist." She attended the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), where she started drawing comics. She no longer draws Hello Kitty, but does occasionally play with crayons.

When she is not making comics, Corinne is probably cooking, wandering around, drinking tea, looking for vintage dresses, repotting her plants, making bad jokes, or sewing.

She currently lives in Chicago.
