Corinne was born in 1983 and grew up in suburban New Jersey. She started drawing Hello Kitty obsessively at a young age. Later, she moved on to still lives. Growing up, her father encouraged her to take cartooning classes, to which she always responded, "No thanks, Dad. I'm a real artist." She attended the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), where she started drawing comics, during the EHP program in Italy. (It was at this time, she ate her own words, along with some gelato.) She no longer draws Hello Kitty, but does occasionally play with crayons.

When she is not making comics, Corinne is probably cooking, playing dress up, doing yoga, making up songs, drinking tea, thrift shopping or sewing.

She currently lives in Chicago.
